WASHINGTON (AP) — House Democrats released additional images from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on Thursday, revealing his connections to several high-profile figures amid the Department of Justice's upcoming deadline to disclose extensive case files related to Epstein by the week's end.

The new photos, part of a larger collection exceeding 95,000, were obtained following a subpoena issued by the House Oversight Committee after Epstein's death in a New York jail in 2019. Recent legislation mandated by Congress and signed by former President Donald Trump requires the Justice Department to disclose its findings pertaining to Epstein and his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, by Friday. Anticipations are surging regarding the contents of these files due to the entwined history of these figures with various influential personalities, including Trump, Clinton, and Andrew.

The newly released images depict Epstein engaging in domestic activities with Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, an Emirati businessman, as well as interactions with billionaire Bill Gates and snapshots from a 2011 lavish gathering hosted by a philanthropic organization. Notably, the oversight committee made clear that they are not making any accusations against those featured in the photographs.

Moreover, the collection includes various official documents such as passports and identification from multiple countries, with identifying details redacted, alongside images of Epstein with unidentified individuals, whose features have also been obfuscated. The committee has stated that they are actively redacting information that could potentially expose the identities of Epstein's victims.

Rep. Robert Garcia, the leading Democrat on the oversight panel, reiterated calls for transparency, stating, These new images raise more questions about what exactly the Department of Justice has in its possession. We must end this White House cover-up, and the DOJ must release the Epstein files now.
